Jet Aviation was founded in Switzerland in 1967 and is a world leader in business-aviation services. With 25 service facilities at airports throughout Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North and South America, Jet Aviation provides maintenance, repair and overhaul; completion and refurbishment; engineering; fixed base operation (FBO); aircraft management, flight support and global executive-jet charter services; and aircraft sales, acquisitions and personnel services.
General Dynamics, headquartered in Falls Church, Va., employs approximately 91,200 people worldwide. The company is a market leader in business aviation; land and expeditionary combat systems, armaments and munitions; shipbuilding and marine systems. Formed in 1952 through the combination of Electric Boat Company, Canadair Ltd. and other companies, General Dynamics grew internally and through acquisitions until the early 1990s, when it sold nearly all of its divisions except Electric Boat and Land Systems.
